FSO made sure you were settled in and you knew where to find your essential items before we left you on move day.  Up until this part of the process, we are somewhat adamant about working through the entire process with you, to take advantage of the interconnectedness and balance that makes a cost-effective and efficient downsize and move.  When it comes to unpacking, although there are steps we took when packing to help the efficacy of unpacking, this is a place in the process where it is not as important for FSO to be involved.  If you have family and friends anxiously awaiting to lend a hand, this is a good time for them to become involved.  Those same steps we took to help us unpack efficiently on your behalf, you may also find helpful as you unpack.  Depending on the space you moved into and the amount of items you moved with you, we do recommend having FSO return one day after move day to unpack more of your important items and to make sure the remaining boxes are organized in such a way to help you with the remainder of the unpacking.  Whether FSO does all your unpacking or just one extra day of unpacking, it is still important that you are available during that time.  This is your new home and we want to make sure that items are unpacked and placed where it makes the most sense for you.
